While in country, a number of projects will be underway throughout the whole summer. Some needs assessments have already been done, and as a result we will be constructing adobe stoves, square foot gardening, and two new classrooms for underprivileged children. Several business students will be teaching business skills, along with micro financing and micro enterprising. Our goal: 100% sustainability when we leave. This calls for EDUCATION. Teaching and finding local solutions to local problems will be our focus all summer. Education classes and teacher improvement assisting will also be a focus along will several public health events throughout the summer. Other projects will be implemented once we are in country and see more of the first hand struggles these people are facing. Nonetheless, we thank you for your support and are excited about this opportunity!
